- An employer may retain a downloaded copy independently of CS & Clarks.
- We cannot remotely delete or control copies already downloaded and stored by an employer.
- Any subsequent use, storage or disclosure by an employer is subject to that employer's own responsibilities and applicable data protection obligations.
CS & Clarks does not operate a business of selling or renting candidate personal information. However, providing employers with access to candidate information is an intended function of our platform.
Candidates should only upload information they are comfortable making available to potential employers through this service.
7. Information submitted by job advertisers
Individuals may submit job vacancies through our platform, whether or not they represent a formally registered company.
We may collect their names, contact details and information about the vacancy and the organisation concerned.
Where a vacancy is submitted confidentially, the submitter's identity and contact details are not ordinarily displayed publicly alongside the advertisement.
We may request additional information to verify a vacancy or the authority of the individual submitting it.
Information collected from job advertisers is used to administer the platform, communicate with submitters and manage vacancy submissions.

8. Who can access your information?
Personal information may be accessed by the following parties where necessary:
CS & Clarks personnel
Authorised personnel who require access to provide services, administer accounts, manage the platform or perform their professional responsibilities.
Employers
Employers with appropriate access may view and download candidate information made available through the platform.
Our hosting provider
Rumahweb provides the hosting infrastructure for our website. Its technical personnel may have access to website data where necessary to maintain, support, secure or troubleshoot the hosting service.
Legal and regulatory authorities
We may disclose information when required by applicable law, a valid legal request or an authorised regulatory process.
We do not sell, rent or trade personal information to third parties.
9. Where your information is stored
Important information
CS & Clarks F.Z.E. is registered in the United Arab Emirates. However, our website and its associated data are currently hosted in Jakarta, Indonesia.
Our hosting provider is Rumahweb, an Indonesian web hosting company.
Information submitted through our website, including candidate CVs, professional profiles, account information and uploaded documents, is stored on the website's hosting infrastructure in Jakarta.
Your information is therefore not hosted in the UAE simply because CS & Clarks is registered in the UAE.
Depending on the technical arrangements of the hosting service, certain information may also be processed through technical support, backup or infrastructure systems. We will provide further information where these arrangements are established and verified.
10. International data transfers
Because our business operates internationally and our website is hosted in Indonesia, personal information may be stored or processed outside the country in which a user resides.
Such arrangements may be subject to international data transfer requirements under applicable data protection laws.

11. Account deactivation and deletion requests
Users may request the deactivation of their accounts and the removal of their information from the active CS & Clarks platform.
When receiving a valid request, we will take appropriate steps to deactivate the account and remove the associated candidate profile and documents from active employer access.
However, account deactivation and complete data deletion are not necessarily the same thing.
Some information may remain in technical backups, administrative records or other systems where retention is necessary for legitimate operational, security, legal or regulatory reasons.
Where information is retained, we will seek to limit its use and retain it only for as long as necessary or legally required.
We will not promise that every copy is immediately and permanently erased unless that can actually be achieved.
Please also remember that documents already downloaded by employers cannot automatically be removed from their independent systems through your CS & Clarks account.
